I would like to congratulate the new comer students for their acceptance in the Arab Open University – Palestine Branch, It is my pleasure to welcome them all; and would encourage them to be keen on learning for brighter future; in the same time I extend my thanks and appreciation to my faculty colleagues, and applaud their hard work and great efforts spent in the interest of our students, which will definitely have positive effect on students’ better performance, and promotion of Palestine branch.
The initiative taken by AOU Board of Trustees, chaired by HRH Prince Talal Bin Abdulaziz, in adopting the new learning concept of “blended learning” reflects his HRH great interest in the advancement of Arab youth and Arab future generations. Blended learning is considered one of the advanced learning systems. AOU has been accredited with this system by British Open University since 2001. AOU, with headquarters in the State of Kuwait, established several branches and learning centers in seven Arab states; and Kuwait branch is considered one of the essential branches as it provides its learning services to nearly five thousands students.
In the process of developing AOU; Board of Trustees had initiated and approved “Master Program” for MBA, English Literature, Software development, and Education. Furthermore, a new premises for Campus of Kuwait Branch is in its final stages, which will be furnished with all necessary and up-to-date equipment including learning resources to serve our students.
